A Note on the first show, and a request for future shows

hey out there all you lurkers!
i would just like to let everyone reading this know that the first record for "It Came From the Longbox" @ thinktwiceradio.com will be this Wednesday at seven p.m., so the show should be up and ready to go probably by nine, and God willing, i'll be able to also get it up on iTunes by next weekend. (I will also be posting a link here, and starting a thread for that first episode for people to hopefully comment on)
On that note, i wnated to let people in on the skinny of the show: my main goal is to spotlight a lot of hidden gems and forgotten treasures from my comic book collection, as well as my guests. It could be series that was big at the time but is now forgotten, or a book that passed under almost everyones radar. I also plan to talk about current comic book and film interests.
It is with this in mind that i ask you, the lurker of this blog (or hopefully subscriber!!!) to send me some suggestions on some books that you think would be good to feature on the show. i already have a bunch in mind, but hopefully with YOUR input, i can have many more, and we all can share the joy of reading these treasured books.

  1. Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos Quest are always good reads.

  2. i think i might have some of those laying around somewhere in the basement, although im not a huge fan of Marvel's cosmic books. really, i like DCs cuz of Green Lantern, some of the 4th World Stuff, but i never really connected with Marvel's, which is kinda wierd since i would consider myself (right now) more of a Marvel fan. but i dig marvel's street level characters more, like Daredevil and Iron Fist. also, thanks for being my first comment!

  3. I am a DC guy all the way, but Infinity Gauntlet is by far one of the best series I have ever read. The scene where Cap stood alone against Thanos is a top comic moment.
